Here’s news of a great new rear bike light, the Bekan. It’s designed to be almost impossible to steal, plus it performs intelligently, so you can just fit it and forget about it. The Bekan rear bike light is on Indiegogo right now, and we think it is showing the way towards the future of bike lights. You can watch a video about the new Bekan bike light here:
Keeping your Bike Light Safe – In Your Seat Post!
The basic idea of the Bekan rear light is that it is built into a seat post. The lights are inside the post, and shine out of small holes in the seat post. So you replace your existing seat post with a seat post that has the Beakan light built into it. When your bike is parked and the light is off, thieves will not even notice it is there. It is basically invisible.
Bekan is on Indiegogo
Where can you get this bike light? Well, right now it’s on Indiegogo. It’s doing well, but it’s not too late for you to get in on the ground floor with Bekan. So go and check it out.

How the Bekan Rear Bike Light Works
The Bekan rear bike compromises more than 20 COB LEDs, motion sensors, accelerometers, a battery management system, and more. These are all inside the seat post.
As you can see, the Bekan rear bike light knows to switch on when you start moving, and to stop working after you have stopped moving for three minutes. Also, it goes into braking mode when you slow down. Oh and of course it is waterproof, so the rain is not going to spoil your fun or make your bike unsafe.
