Kashius Weme rides the trails better than most adults in the word. This two-year-old hails from Nanaimo, BC, Canada. His third word was “bike” (after the usual two first words). His mom Kimeesha See says that he has “loved bikes since before he could walk.” Watch this video to see how amazing this tiny cyclist is. The video shows Kashius doing downhill mountain biking.
Kashius has already attracted a lot of attention, and has a growing fan base on Tik Tok. His love for cycling is obvious, and he is not short on ambition either. When asked about his goal, he says: “Do big jumps!” He says that what he loves the most is to “do big air.”
His mother says:
“He’s quite the daredevil. He’s brave, he just does things. Even if he’s scared, I feel like he just overcomes it and he just takes off. Just watching him do what he loves, it’s awesome.”
If your child’s cycling skills are not quite up to those of Kashius, don’t despair! It is never too late to start teaching a child to ride a bike (or too early, apparently). Check out our post, in which Maggie shows a simple, step-by-step process to teach your child to read a bike. And make sure you don’t make the worst possible mistake in teaching your little one to ride a bike!
