The front version of the light will shift to steady mode at night, but it’s only bright enough for emergency situations, so I shift to a brighter headlight in the winter commuting season.

We pedestrians are hard pressed to cause cyclists harm and the (often bright) strobe lights are pretty painful and annoying.

I absolutely love mine, but would be curious to hear how motorists feel about the variable pulsing patterns that change with trailing vehicles’ approach distance/speed.
