Hi Terry. It was nice to meet you too – thanks for coming out and sharing your expertise.

It’s my day to be cheered up by comments! I’m coming down with a bug, so good timing – thanks! I feel really encouraged and empowered to think of being able to change my focus from “rage” to “We can fix this!” Makes me want to start singing that old Bob the Builder song on that TV show my kids used to watch (“Can we fix it – Yes we can!”)

And as someone wrote on one of the mailing lists, the fact that there are web sites like RoadJustice is actually very encouraging – because when someone is sufficiently threatened by you that they start setting up web sites to fight with you, it clearly shows that you are becoming a force to be reckoned with. Hi Joe,

Nice to meet you on that ride. I learned a few things about Burnaby I never knew before. I’m glad to read that you’re excited about getting involved with the advocates. It’s usually a long, slow process, but we will prevail. I hope that what you’re currently feeling as “rage” and “fury” turns into “hard-earned experience” (we all have that), and optimism. Eventually the response to a bad piece of road automatically becomes “We can fix this!”
