They should have them on every intersection. Maybe give bikers a30 second head start too.

Thanks for the link Chris. I added the photo to my latest post – it’s a GREAT photo! I must get down to Hornby and take some photos myself. I have been working a lot lately, and not got a chance to go downtown. Still, I doubt I could take a better photo than that one.

Complete with bike icons. Possibly the first in BC as far as I can remember. Canada Place and Burrard had a traffic light labelled “Bike Signal” for quite a while, but without the icon, as did Main and Union, but now we have some ones with the bike icon in them, quite nice.

I think the BC Parkway/7-11 Trail in Burnaby would be an ideal candidate for more of these.

Hornby has a few bike-only lights for the intersections where there is a right-turn light before bikes can proceed.
