The bike route from North to South in Burnaby is poetically named the Sea to River Bike Route. I could suggest a lot of other names. “Death-defying route” springs to mind. As does “Suicide Run bike trail.” And “Are you Kidding Me?” The kicker is that it just ENDS in the middle of nowhere. Hello, City of Burnaby, news flash: there is NO RIVER at the foot of McKay. There’s a dead end. So why is it called Sea to River? Shouldn’t it be “Sea to Dead End in the Middle of Nowhere?”
