Over 1,000 London workers shared their thoughts on commuting to work. An overwhelming 91% of Londoners who cycle to work reported that their commute is acceptable in terms of length, ease, and comfort. It also appears that bike commuting can improve productivity in the office.

But before we get around to making laws about ethics for robotic cars, we might want to think about passing a few laws reflecting the fundamental ethic that cyclists are human beings too, and therefore motorists are not allowed to run them down?

Cycle lanes end in the middle of nowhere; and there is hardly any safe, separate infrastructure. Cyclists are few and far between – and what few here are, often scoot up onto the sidewalks (presumably so that they can survive a little longer).
